Muszyna
Sankolandia is a set of natural sledging runs laid out on the slopes of Kotylniczy Wierch in Muszyna Złockie, in the Beskid Sądecki range. Instead of an artificial chute there are wide, shaped snow runs, groomed daily, which you descend on sledges fitted with a brake or on Trikke Skki vehicles.
Two descents are available: the shorter red run of about 2000 metres and the longer, more scenic blue one of roughly 3000 metres. The price of a ride includes the equipment and a tractor lift to the top, so there is no walking uphill. Helmets are compulsory and can be hired on the spot. In the evenings the red run is sometimes lit, and larger groups can book rides outside standard opening times.
The place works well for family trips and outings in a larger group: the easier run suits children, the longer one gives more speed. The surroundings of Muszyna add spa promenades and mineral springs.
