The Goczałkowice Reservoir is a large dam reservoir on the Vistula (one of the larger ones in Poland), supplying drinking water to the Silesian conurbation. Part of the water body is open to angling and is a prized fishing ground in the region.
The reservoir lies in the Silesian Voivodeship, near Goczałkowice-Zdrój (Pszczyna County), adjacent to the ponds of the Upper Vistula Valley.
The water body is known for numerous fish species, including predators; due to its water-supply function, protection zones and restrictions apply. A fishing licence and permit are required.
