Lake Siemianowskie (Siemianówka Reservoir)

A dam reservoir in the valley of the upper Narew, north of the Białowieża Forest, with an area of about 32.5 km² - one of the largest angling waters in Podlasie.

Location and surroundings

A reservoir in the Michałowo and Narewka communes, created in 1977-1990; the reservoir is about 11 km long, with an average depth of about 3.5 m.

What's on offer / What to see

Mainly lowland species occur: bream, roach, white bream, crucian carp, pike, zander and catfish. Fishing from the islands is prohibited.

For anglers fishing a large, natural body of water from the shore and from a boat.

Infrastructure

Tourist facilities in the surrounding towns; fishing requires a PZW permit.
