One of the largest and deepest lakes of the Olsztyn Lakeland, with an area of over 1042 ha, a length of up to 10.5 km and a maximum depth of about 53 m (average about 16 m). The clean, well-oxygenated waters favour the presence of valuable fish species.
The southern part of the lake is a special fishery available for a higher fee; permits are issued by the Fishery Farm in Szwaderki (Rybaczówka in Pluski). Species: vendace, whitefish, bream, perch, pike, roach, tench, eel.
