Mietków / Borzygniew, powiat wrocławski, województwo dolnośląskie
The largest lake in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship – a dam reservoir on the Bystrzyca River in Mietków, approx. 25 km south-west of Wrocław. Construction began in 1974, filling was completed in 1986. Area approx. 9.29 km², capacity approx. 65 million m³, max. depth 13 m.
Renowned for its large pikeperch (three pikeperch feature in the coat of arms of the Mietków municipality). Also bream, pike, perch, ide, asp, catfish, roach, tench, carp, grass carp. Boat fishing is prohibited from 1 January to 31 May. PZW lodge in Borzygniew.
