Tresna / Żywiec, powiat żywiecki, województwo śląskie
An artificial retention reservoir on the Soła River, created in 1966, on the border of the Little Beskids and the Żywiec Basin. Maximum length approx. 6.6 km, shoreline approx. 33.7 km, average depth 8–9 m, maximum approx. 26.8 m, area approx. 1,000 ha.
Fishing requires a permit under the "Our Fisheries" (Nasze Łowiska) programme. Fish stock: bream, ide, as well as pike, zander, perch, roach, chub, carp, trout, catfish.
Tresna and Żywiec area; the reservoir serves both recreational and hydropower functions.
