A water reservoir on the Brynica River, also known as Lake Świerklaniec, built in the 1930s for flood protection and water supply. Area approx. 5.5 km², average depth approx. 2.4 m, maximum approx. 5.5 m – a relatively shallow body of water.
Fishing from a boat (available at the fisherman's lodge) or from the shore. Fish stock: carp, bream, roach, rudd, white bream, crucian carp, tench, grass carp, silver carp and predators – zander, pike, eel, perch, catfish. Water of the PZW Katowice District (reservoir No. 014).
