The Krutynia is one of the best-known lowland kayak trails in Poland, running through Masurian forests, lakes and wetlands. The river is considered one of the safest in the country — on the popular Krutyń–Ukta section the depth rarely exceeds 1 metre and the current is very slow, which makes the route suitable for beginners and families with children.
The Ukta Marina operates two logistics bases — in Krutyń and in Ukta (about 5 km apart) — along the Krutynia trail within the Masurian Landscape Park.
The operator runs one-day and multi-day trips as well as weekend and team-building outings. Popular sections: Krutyń–Rosocha (9 km, 2–3 hrs), Krutyń–Ukta (15 km, 4–5 hrs), Krutyń–Nowy Most (22 km, 6 hrs), Krutyń–Iznota (31 km, 8 hrs).
The route is recommended for beginners, families and school groups. For organised groups, a WOPR lifeguard is provided.
Kayak and canoe rental, transport of people and equipment, free parking for the duration of the trip, personal accident insurance.
The base is open Monday to Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Trips take place mainly in the summer season.
Bases in Krutyń and Ukta (Ruciane-Nida municipality). Free parking for trip participants.
