The Sosnowo Lock is a single-chamber lock on the Augustów Canal, located at km 13.20 of the trail, on the lower, Biebrza section of the canal. It is one of the oldest hydro-engineering structures of the canal.
The original lock was built between 1825 and 1826. In its present form it dates from 1948, when it was rebuilt after wartime damage as a concrete structure.
Locking during the navigation season (customarily spring-autumn). Exact hours are set by the administrator - RZGW Białystok (Polish Waters).
