Gorczyca Lock

A single-chamber lock on the Augustów Canal, located at km 57.00 of the route, in the heart of the Augustów Primeval Forest in the Płaska municipality. One of the most scenically situated locks on the canal.

History

Erected as part of the construction of the Augustów Canal between 1824 and 1839.
