An earthen lock on the Noteć unique on a European scale, the only one of its kind in Poland. It is a damming structure of the earth-and-fascine type - only the lock heads were made of concrete, and the wall reinforcements of wood. Together with the needle-and-gibbet weir, it forms the Krostkowo barrage.
