Piaseczno Miasto Wąskotorowe, 05-500 Piaseczno, woj. mazowieckie (trasa Piaseczno - Tarczyn)
The Piaseczno-Grójec Narrow-Gauge Railway is a historic railway with a 1000 mm gauge, running as a tourist line on the Piaseczno - Tarczyn section (approx. 15 km). It is a popular destination for trips from Warsaw.
The historical network ran from Warsaw via Piaseczno to Grójec, Mogielnica and Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą. Today the Piaseczno - Tarczyn section is in operation, through fields and forests south of Warsaw.
The railway opened on 30 October 1898. It was incorporated into PKP in 1949; passenger traffic was suspended in 1991 and freight in 1996. It has been reactivated as a tourist railway since 2002.
An attraction for residents of the Warsaw metropolitan area and families.
Stations include: Piaseczno Miasto Wąskotorowe, Piaseczno Zalesie, Runów, Tarczyn Wąskotorowy.
From March to October at weekends; special trains also outside the season. Current timetable from the operator.
