Rogów Narrow-Gauge Railway

The Rogów Narrow-Gauge Railway (the Rogów - Rawa - Biała line) is a historic railway with a 750 mm gauge, linking Rogów via Rawa Mazowiecka with Biała Rawska (approx. 49 km).

Location and surroundings

The line runs through Jeżów, Głuchów, Boguszyce and Rawa Mazowiecka, passing through the fields and forests of the eastern part of the Łódź Voivodeship.

History

The railway was built by German troops in 1915 as a supply line during the First World War (originally 600 mm gauge, converted to 750 mm in 1954). After the war it was taken over by PKP.
