The Training Mine is an underground tourist route run by the "Sztygarka" Municipal Museum, originally created as a training mine for students of the Dąbrowa mining school.
The site is located in Dąbrowa Górnicza in the Silesian Voivodeship (the Dąbrowa Basin).
The Training Mine was established in 1927 and served the practical training of future miners. It consists of three levels; since 2010 it has been made accessible as an underground tourist route. Visitors learn about the atmosphere of underground work and old mining tools.
For individual tourists, families and organised groups; reservation required.
Part of the "Sztygarka" Municipal Museum complex; museum exhibitions on the surface.
