The Tourist Coal Mine in Nowa Ruda is a mining museum with an underground tourist route in a former hard coal mine.
The site is located in Nowa Ruda, at the foot of the Owl Mountains (Góry Sowie), in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.
The visit is divided into a museum part (four exhibition halls devoted to various fields of underground mining) and an underground part - a walk through authentic workings. The exhibits illustrate work in a coal mine.
For individual tourists, families and organised groups.
Four exhibition halls; underground walk approx. 1.5 hours.
Mar-Jun: 9:00-17:00; Jul-Feb: 9:00-16:00.
