The Ore Mining Museum Chamber commemorates centuries of copper ore mining on Miedzianka Hill in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains.
The site is located in Miedzianka in the Chęciny municipality, in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in the south-western part of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains (the Chęciny Range).
The oldest documents indirectly confirming copper ore extraction in Miedzianka date back to the 15th century; the mines were worked with interruptions over the following centuries. The museum was established in 2008 in former mining buildings; its icon is the only surviving lattice headframe in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, dating from 1902. Traces of mining can be found in the area - including the Zofia and Teresa adits, spoil heaps and old shafts.
For tourists, enthusiasts of mining history and nature; nearby are trails leading to Miedzianka Hill.
