Railway viaduct in Lewin Kłodzki

A stone railway viaduct in the Sudetes, erected in 1903-1905 to Italian plans, on railway line no. 309 from Kłodzko to Kudowa-Zdrój and on to the Czech Republic. A technical monument with over a hundred years of history.

Structure

  • Height approx. 27 m, length approx. 120 m.
  • Built by Italian and Croatian workers; about 1,500 m³ of earth was moved and about 500 m³ of stone was used.

Trivia

Its picturesque location has been used in film productions and even in the game Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is entered in the municipal register of monuments of Lewin Kłodzki.
