Dworcowy Bridge in Poznań

A road viaduct over the railway line in the immediate vicinity of the Poznań Główny station. The origins of the structure date back to 1908; the original ten-span bridge was built by the Berlin company Breest & Co.

History

  • Opened in 1910; on 5 September 1910 a tram route was launched across the bridge.
  • On 19 April 1993 it was entered in the register of monuments (no. A.413).

Current state

Length about 203 m. Three historic spans over Dworcowa Street have been preserved; the remaining ones were replaced with a new structure.
