The Obra constitutes the main section of the Lubusz Water Trail - one of the more popular kayaking trails in Poland. The trail runs along the Obrzyca, Obra and Warta rivers; its length is approx. 123 km, and completing it fully takes 7-10 days.
The trail runs through the Lubusz Province (including the Międzyrzecz area), in places reaching the border with Greater Poland. The route leads through forests, meadows and wetlands.
One- and multi-day trips; selected sections can be covered (e.g. Międzyrzecz - Gorzyca). The Obra is a calm and picturesque river.
The calm current makes the route suitable for beginners and for those planning longer expeditions.
Kayak rental and transport are provided by local organisers.
