Museum of Milling and the Countryside in Ustrzyki Dolne

The museum has operated since 2011 in a former mill building from the early 20th century (the building dates from 1905; until World War I it housed Stanisław Glazor's Drilling Tools Factory). It presents complete technological lines used for cleaning and grinding grain.

What to see

It is the only museum in Poland offering the chance to see complete milling lines with modern drive systems. A very valuable exhibit is a roller crusher from the 1830s - one of the oldest devices of its kind not only in Poland but also in Europe. Visitors can tour the five-storey mill building.

Additional attractions

The museum offers workshops (including the baking of proziaki flatbreads and croissants), and around the building agricultural machinery from the 19th and 20th centuries has been set up. On site there is an inn serving regional food.
