Museum of the Mazovian Village in Sierpc

An open-air museum founded in 1971, located on about 60.5 hectares by the Sierpienica river near its mouth into the Skrwa. The park contains more than 80 examples of wooden architecture from the north-western region of Mazovia.

Windmill and mill

On the grounds of the open-air museum there is a post mill - the oldest type of windmill, which survived in the Polish countryside almost until the end of the 20th century. By the northern entrance to the museum stands a watermill on the Sierpienica river.
