One of the largest open-air museums in Poland, located in the picturesque valley of the Czechówka river. It gathers wooden and masonry architectural monuments as well as ethnographic collections from the former Lublin Voivodeship.
The Lublin Upland sector is the oldest part of the museum - the first structure moved to the open-air museum was a smock (Dutch-type) windmill from Zygmuntów, built in 1918. Since 2007 it has been restored to working condition. Among the industrial structures there are also watermills and oil mills - often technically functional.
During educational presentations, one can see how grain was ground or oil was pressed.
Opening hours depend on the season (see above). Last admission no later than one hour before closing.
