Museum of the Opole Village in Opole-Bierkowice

An open-air museum created in 1961 (opened to visitors in 1970), located in the Opole-Bierkowice district. It presents relocated and reconstructed examples of the rural architecture of Opole Silesia (18th - early 20th century).

Windmills and watermill

On the grounds of the open-air museum there are post mills (the older one from Dobrzeń Wielki dating from 1734) - among the few preserved in the Opole county. Around the open-air museum an artificial watercourse about 700 metres long was dug, over which a watermill from Stare Siołkowice was set up - an example of 19th-century wooden industrial architecture with preserved milling equipment.
