Museum of Folk Architecture in Sanok

The largest and one of the oldest open-air museums in Poland (operating since 1958, opened to visitors in 1966), located at the foot of Biała Góra on the right bank of the San River, over an area of approx. 38 ha. About 180 wooden structures from the 17th-20th centuries have been gathered here.

Windmills and water mill

In the Eastern Foothills sector there is, among others, a water mill from the late 19th century from Wola Komborska, a windmill from Domaradz and a windmill from Urzejowice. The open-air museum also presents smithies and craft workshops.

Sectors

The ethnographic park is divided into sectors corresponding to ethnographic groups: the Boykos, Lemkos, Dolinians and the Eastern and Western Pogórzans.
