The oldest open-air museum in Poland created after the war (established in 1937, opened in 1955), located at the foot of Babia Góra over an area of approx. 12 ha, with nearly 60 structures presenting the heritage of the Orawa region.
The open-air museum presents a complex of production buildings comprising a mill, a sawmill and a fulling mill (a device for felting fabric), built in the early 20th century by the brothers Józef and Franciszek Maciasz from Zarębek Niżny. The park also presents smithies, oil mills and other old workshops.
Zubrzyca Górna lies in the Orawa region, at the foot of Babia Góra.
