In Śmigiel (Kościan County) two wooden post-type windmills have survived, one of them originating from Bronikowo. Śmigiel - alongside Osieczna and Leszno - lies in the area with the greatest concentration of preserved windmills in southern Greater Poland.
The windmills are listed in the register of monuments / record of monuments (zabytek.pl). They form a characteristic element of the region's cultural landscape.
Śmigiel lies in Kościan County, in southern Greater Poland.
