Post windmill on Góra Sobótka

A reconstruction of a wooden post windmill standing on the summit of Góra Sobótka (approx. 221 m a.s.l.) in Ręboszewo, one of the highest hills of Kashubia. The windmill was built in 2012 using original, over one-hundred-year-old mechanism components from windmills in the Suwałki region and Greater Poland.

Function

  • The site serves a tourist and accommodation function (an apartment) as well as a café.
  • In summer there are demonstrations of grinding grain into flour and baking bread in a traditional oven next to the windmill.
  • By the windmill there is a viewing terrace with a panorama of Kashubia.
