Post mill in Kościan

A wooden post mill originally erected in Kościan in 1714. Until 1834 it was used to grind oak bark for tanning, and later to mill grain.

Present function

  • In 1977 it was relocated to its present site and restored by the carpenter Michał Włodarkiewicz.
  • It now serves as a gallery of painting and sculpture.
