Dutch-type windmill in Gostomia

A brick, plastered Dutch-type windmill shaped like a truncated cone, topped with a conical shingle-covered roof, with four storeys. The ground floor held living quarters, the upper storeys the milling equipment; the structure has a cellar.

Condition

  • Currently in poor technical condition; part of the equipment survives (the vertical shaft with a cog wheel, millstones, the sail shaft with a lantern gear, the cap-turning mechanism).
