Dutch-type windmill in Dzierżążenko

A historic Dutch-type windmill from 1905, located about 3 km from Złotów. It worked according to its original purpose until 1945.

History

  • After the war it was used as a store for feed and grain.
  • In the 1960s a fire destroyed part of the ceilings and the roof; renovation took place in 1975-1977.
  • Privately owned since 1996; the roof is now in a critical condition - a foundation is working to save the structure.

  • A historic structure, privately owned, in poor condition; no confirmed sightseeing offer.
