Post mill in Lubięcin

A wooden post mill in the village of Lubięcin near Nowa Sól, erected in 1705. Signatures of 19th-century repairs (1867, 1879, 1884, 1897) have survived on the structural elements.

History and care

  • It belonged to the Riedl family until the end of the Second World War; from 1945 it was state-owned property.
  • Renovation in 1974.
  • Distinguished in the 'Well-Kept Monument' competition; one of two revitalised windmills in the village.
