Working mill in Tworków

A brick water mill on Młyńska Street in Tworków, built in 1914 and driven by a water turbine. One of the few mills in Poland still producing flour by traditional methods on a small scale.

Technical history

  • Its predecessor from 1703 - a wooden mill with a water wheel.
  • 1914 - a brick mill with a turbine; 1927 - a combustion engine; 1948 - electric drive.
  • After renovation in 1991-1995, output of about 3 tonnes per day.
