Wooden water mill in Biała Wielka

A water mill from 1935 in the village of Biała Wielka in the Lelów commune, in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. Partly brick and stone, two storeys high, driven solely by the current of the dammed Białka River - it produces various types of flour.

History

  • Built in 1935 by Karol Szyc.
  • Nationalised and devastated after World War II; recovered by the heirs in the early 21st century and, after renovation, put back into operation.
  • Listed on the Industrial Monuments Route of the Silesian Voivodeship.
