Żywiec Brewery Museum

The Żywiec Brewery Museum is a private museum of the Żywiec Group, housed in the former lagering cellars of the Archducal Brewery in Żywiec. The site belongs to the Industrial Monuments Route of the Silesian Voivodeship.

History

The brewery in Żywiec was founded in 1856 by Archduke Albrecht Friedrich Habsburg. Thanks to successive investments and modern technologies, Żywiec became one of the most modern breweries in Galicia. The museum in its current form was created after modernisation in 2016.

An interactive exhibition presents the history of brewing and the beer production process in the historic interiors of the former lagering cellars.
