Camping SMOK Kraków is a ***-category facility, recommended by the Polish Camping and Caravanning Federation and PZM Travel. It is located on a picturesque hill, near the Vistula River, in a green part of Krakow, just 4 km from the city center. It offers comfortable relaxation in a family atmosphere.
Camping SMOK, operating since 1989, is the winner of the 2nd place in the Mister Camping 2021 competition. The facility is located in a quiet, green part of Krakow, by road no. 780 (towards Oświęcim). Its convenient location allows for quick access to the city center by public transport – the Glinnik bus stop is just 30 meters from the campsite, from where buses go to the Salwator loop, and then by trams to the Old Town.
The campsite area, covering 2 hectares, is fenced, lit, and monitored, which ensures the safety of guests. The offer includes caravanning pitches with electrical hook-ups, a tent field, and guarded parking. The facility ensures quiet hours between 22:00-6:00.
The sanitary facilities include a modern building with toilets and showers. Also available to guests are a kitchen room with a refrigerator, a laundry room, a common room, and a grocery store (open in June, July, August). On the campsite premises, there is a children's playground, as well as the possibility of grilling (with your own equipment). Dogs are accepted, provided they are kept on a leash.
Near the campsite, there are numerous tourist attractions, such as Wolski Forest, the Zoo, Kościuszko Mound, and the Szyszko-Bohusz villa in Przegorzały. It is an ideal base for exploring Krakow and its surroundings, including the Tatra Mountains (Zakopane) or Wieliczka.
